Google introduces the +1 button, which lets you recommend things to your friends, contacts and others through your Google Profile
The +1 button is a shorthand for "this is pretty cool" or "you should check this out." Click +1 to publicly give something your stamp of approval. Your +1's can help friends, contacts and others find the best stuff when they search.

Photo Sharing Boom
We’re in the midst of a photo sharing boom that looks to be an unstoppable force. While we are already familiar with social photography, mobile photo sharing is just beginning to blossom. According to Mashable mobile photography is going to be the social networking trend of 2011.
