Owling is a new trendy internet meme, the practice of crouching "like an owl" in unusual places. It refers to the act of sitting in a perched position while looking off into the distance as to mimic the posture of an owl.

Design Trends: Gray and Gold

Gray and gold is another color combination that seems very fitting this time of year. These colors seem to be more soothing and elegant, a nice switch from the dark red and forest green we find ourselves surrounded with each December. While browsing around through a slew of home decor items, some nice ones popped up as you can see. What are your thoughts on gold and gray?

Photo Sharing Boom

We’re in the midst of a photo sharing boom that looks to be an unstoppable force. While we are already familiar with social photography, mobile photo sharing is just beginning to blossom. According to Mashable mobile photography is going to be the social networking trend of 2011.

Honeysuckle Pink - Color of the Year for 2011

Last week, Pantone (the global authority on color and provider of professional color standards for the design industries) announced Honeysuckle, a vibrant, energetic hue, as the color of the year for 2011.
